Simoa Success Seminars have gone virtual! We are excited to offer an extended lineup of webinar events, based on our popular seminar series.

The second week of events in the series focused on the study of COVID-19, with presentations from current Simoa users who shared their data and experiences using our technology to advance the study of infectious disease as well as neurological manifestations of SARS-CoV-2 infection.

The third event in our 4-week webinar series features an overview of Simoa Planar Array technology for high definition cytokine profiling for COVID-19 by Paula Perin, PhD, and is moderated by Lindsey Marsh, PhD, Field Application Scientist for Quanterix.

The event also includes presentations by Dr. Matheus Vieira of Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital clinician on cytokine profiling as a prognostic tool in COVID-19 and researcher Dr. Sara Mariotto of the University of Verona on the nervous system as a subclinical target of SARS-CoV-2 infection. A panel discussion on the role of interferon and cytokines in COVID-19 includes Dr. Sophie Assant, COVID-19 Research Project Manager at the University of Lyon, and fellow researcher Dr. Rémi Pescarmona (University of Lyon) as well as Dr. Richard Hughes, Associate Scientific Director at LGC, and Mark Roskey, PhD, SVP of Commercial and Accelerator.

The fourth event in the series features an overview of Simoa Planar Array technology for high definition cytokine profiling for COVID-19 by Divya Rao, PhD, and is moderated by Diana Caracino, PhD, Manager of Field Applications for Quanterix.

The event also includes presentations by Dr. Sophie Stukas and Jennifer Cooper from the Wellington Lab at the University of British Columbia on COVID-19 markers of inflammation and neurology in critically ill patients. Maia Norman from Brigham and Women's Hospital shares findings from ultra-sensitive, high-resolution profiling of the immune response to SARS-CoV-2 using single molecule arrays.

A panel discussion on viral antigen testing in infectious disease includes participation from Dr. Anthony Muyombwe from the CT State Public Health Laboratory, Yury Kuzmichev from Southern Research, and Quanterix' Dan Sikkema, VP of Accelerator Services.
