Dengue positive plasma was applied to an indirect single molecule array (Simoa) for the detection of anti-dengue IgG and IgM. The Simoas were 1,000 and 10,000 times more sensitive than ELISAs, respectively. Using Simoa, serology may be used for the detection of dengue infection in the acute phase.
