Tertiary Lymphoid Structures in Cancer Immunotherapy: Insights and Perspectives
Posted on
Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) have emerged as critical components of the tumor microenvironment, influencing immune responses and clinical outcomes in cancer.
In this webinar, Professor Antoine Italiano will explore recent advances in understanding the role of TLS in soft-tissue sarcomas and other solid tumors, highlighting their potential as robust biomarkers for patient stratification and response to immune checkpoint inhibitors. Key findings from the PEMBROSARC study, the first clinical trial using TLS to guide immunotherapy in advanced sarcomas, will be discussed. Additionally, insights into ongoing research focusing on TLS composition, immune cell interactions, and potential strategies to enhance TLS formation to improve immunotherapy efficacy will be shared.
