Paul has extensive public company experience, as both an executive and a board member, including significant expertise in management, strategy, finance and capital markets, operations, and mergers and acquisitions. He is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Lane Partners, LLC, a private investment company with diverse investments in healthcare and distribution-related industries. Paul previously served as Chairman of the Board of Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. and Vice Chairman of Fisher Scientific International, Inc. prior to Fisher’s merger with Thermo. During his tenure as an executive officer of Fisher Scientific, the company’s revenue and operating income grew at a compound annual growth rate of 15% and 23% respectively, as operations grew from two countries to 27, and sales expanded into 140 countries worldwide. Paul has served as a director of Aptiv PLC (NYSE: APTV), a leading global technology and mobility company primarily serving the automotive sector, since 2019; Amneal Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMRX), a global pharmaceutical company, since 2019; and Oaktree Acquisitions Corp III (Nasdaq: OACCU) since 2024. He is co-chair of the University of Michigan’s Life Sciences Institute External Advisory Board and chair of the Provost’s Advisory Committee. Paul holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University and a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
