Request Information on Simoa® IL-17F Advantage PLUS Assay

Applications and Intended Use

The Quanterix Simoa® IL-17F Advantage PLUS Assay is designed for discovery and translational research applications requiring sensitive quantification of IL-17F in circulation. It supports biomarker studies focused on immunology, inflammation, respiratory disease, gastrointestinal disease, and chronic inflammatory disorders. The assay is particularly well suited for researchers who need high sensitivity, reproducibility, and cleaner longitudinal interpretation in low-abundance cytokine studies.

Research on chronic inflammatory disease:

  • Measure IL-17F to better understand inflammatory pathways involved in psoriasis, asthma, and other Th17-associated diseases.

Th17 pathway analysis:

  • IL-17F can strengthen confidence in pathway activation, improve identification of IL-17-high versus IL-17-low subgroups, and support more informative pharmacodynamic analysis across timepoints.

Asthma and respiratory inflammation research:

  • IL-17F is relevant in studies of severe and non-Type 2 asthma, where Th17-associated cytokines may help explain steroid-insensitive disease, inflammatory heterogeneity, and mixed phenotypes.

Biomarker discovery and validation:

  • Researchers can use the IL-17F assay to support sensitive cytokine measurement in longitudinal cohorts, and broader efforts to connect pathway activity with clinical or tissue outcomes.

Compatible Instruments

The Simoa® IL-17F Advantage PLUS Assay is positioned for use on the Quanterix HD-X and the Quanterix SR-X platforms.

Related Information

Researchers studying the IL-17 pathway can pair the Simoa® IL-17F Advantage PLUS Assay with the Simoa® IL-17A Advantage PLUS Assay to gain a more complete view of Th17-driven inflammation. Because IL-17A and IL-17F are closely related cytokines, that are often co-expressed, measuring both biomarkers can strengthen interpretation of IL-17 pathway activity in inflammatory disease research.
