Developing effective therapies for glioblastoma (GBM) relies on robust preclinical animal models that enable detailed investigation of tumor biology, discovery of therapeutic targets, and evaluation of new treatment strategies. Mouse models, in particular, remain central to GBM research due to their genetic flexibility and translational relevance. In this study, we developed a spatial phenotyping workflow to characterize the immune and neural microenvironment of the mouse brain. Using the PhenoCode™ Discovery Mouse Neurobiology Panel in combination with custom markers, we optimized an imaging strategy and analysis approach using mouse GBM tissues. This iterative process enabled comprehensive profiling of key proteins in FFPE mouse brain samples. The resulting workflow demonstrates that the PhenoCode™ Discovery Mouse Neurobiology Panel provides an off-the-shelf,scalable solution for spatial characterization of diverse cell populations within the mouse brain microenvironment.
Explore our ready-to-use Mouse Neurobiology PhenoCode Discovery Panel or Human Neurobiology PhenoCode Discovery Panel for high-plex spatial phenotyping of neurons, glial populations, and immune cells at single-cell resolution in mouse or human tissue, respectively.
