28 MASS. Biotechs Got Tax Breaks In 2016 To Create Jobs. Here’s How They Did.

Thanks to a program set up in 2008 by the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, a quasi-public agency, life science firms can receive tax breaks if they pledge to create a certain number of jobs in the state during a calendar year and to retain those employees for at least five years. Quanterix is among the group of companies that achieved their goals.
