Unlocking Tissue Biology with Spatial Proteomics
In partnership with The Institute of Brain, Behavior, and Immunology
Attend in person or virtually
Join researchers from The Ohio State University (OSU) and Quanterix for a seminar exploring how ultrahigh-plex spatial proteomics is advancing the study of complex tissues and accelerating biological discovery. Learn how researchers are leveraging the Akoya PhenoCycler-Fusion to generate deep spatial insights from human brain samples and support emerging spatial multiomics workflows.
The seminar will feature a guest presentation from Ayslan Castro Brant, PhD, from OSU, who will share his team’s experience using the Akoya PhenoCycler-Fusion with fresh-frozen human brain tissue, highlight imaging results generated at OSU, and discuss ongoing efforts to integrate spatial proteomics with the Visium HD on the same tissue section. The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A and discussion of future applications for spatial biology research.
What we will cover during this seminar
- An introduction to high-plex spatial proteomics and the Akoya PhenoCycler-Fusion
- Generating spatially resolved protein data from fresh-frozen tissue samples
- Insights and imaging results from human brain research at OSU
- Emerging spatial multiomics approaches combining spatial proteomics and transcriptomics
- Strategies for revealing cellular phenotypes, tissue architecture, and biological interactions in situ
- Open discussion, Q&A, and opportunities to explore spatial biology applications at OSU
